Sportathon Ends!
After three very busy days Sportathon is over!
We all had a brilliant time. Thanks to all the teachers who made the rooms so much fun and a big thank you to all the children for being really active and enthusiastic during sportathon.

The infants had a fantastic time at Sportathon today. I'm sure there are a few tired children tonight!
Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Room 12 are resting tonight before their busy day tomorrow.

There is great excitement in St. Clare's this morning as Junior and Senior Infants start their day at Sportathon.
They are busy orienteering, dancing, learning new ball skills and many other sports activities.

We are all really excited about the Sportathon next week.
Junior and Senior Infants make sure you get lots of rest over the weekend because Monday is going to be a very Active day!

Second class have started the After School Activity Programme. It will run all year every Tuesday after school.
FUTSAI SOCCER TOURNAMENT
This Thursday the soccer futsai soccer tournament will take place on Cavan Astro turf.

Logo Decided
The active school committee have decided on the motto for this years sportathon.
Thanks to all classes who participated in the competition and congratulations to Ms Burns class on winning the competition. I hope they enjoy their extra hour of P.E next week.
The motto for this years sportathon is
"BEING LAZY ISN'T COOL
SO MAKE ST CLARE'S AN ACTIVE SCHOOL"
Also this weeks active school meeting is changed to Friday at 12.30 in Room 18 as the teachers involved with the Sportathon have a meeting this Thursday at 12.40 in Room 18
