LET'S GET ACTIVE!
Welcome back everyone!
We all know how important it is to be active.
Please make a big effort this year to join some of our lunchtime and after school activities or simply just increase your activity time.
Let's make this year our most active year ever!

Skip 'N' Rope
Check out what Second Class have to say about their skipping session!
A while ago our class took part in a skipping session with a group called Skip 'N' Rope.
We were taught how to skip in lots of different ways and were shown some really good skipping games.
There was a small exhibition at the end of our day, where we showed off our new skills to First and Second Classes.
Thank you to all who were involved.

Skipping Workshop
On February 6th all children from 3rd,4th and 5th classes took part in a very successful skipping workshop. It was hard work but great fun. Check out what Ms Doyle's 4th class have to say about it!
Skipping Workshop
On Friday 6th February we took part in a Skipping Workshop with a coach called Mark. We all went over to the hall, where Mark taught us all sorts of complicated skipping, for individual, pairs and groups. It was brilliant. In the afternoon we went back over to watch the exhibition. Every class who had taken part was there. A few people from each class took part in the exhibition. Chloe Caudilla, Aleen and Chloe Collins represented our class. The exhibition was fantastic. We loved the workshop.
Dance Class Is Fun!
Junior Infants have started dance classes with Mary. During this six week programme they will be exploring, creating and performing dance. It is fun and they are getting exercise at the same time!
